GreenMan Theatre's Response to COVID-19
Dear Members and Friends of GreenMan Theatre Troupe:
It saddens us to announce that due to the public health risk accompanying the Covid-19 pandemic, GreenMan is cancelling our spring production of The Angle of Mercy, which was set to open April 24. Our hope is to be able to reschedule this production at a future date. Given the overwhelming concerns for the health and wellbeing of our audiences, production participants, and the community we serve, the GreenMan Board felt this was the best course of action. GreenMan will be reaching out to our season ticket holders and those who have bought tickets for the show to arrange for a refund or an exchange for a future performance.
Next season – we are hopeful that GreenMan’s one-act play contest, 8 to the Bar: Not Here, Not Now, in development for performances late July and early August, will be able to proceed as planned. We are also moving ahead with and look forward to sharing our plans soon for our 17th season.
GreenMan’s Board will continue to monitor conditions and evaluate our response to Covid-19 as the situation evolves. Please check our website, Facebook page, and your email for the latest updates.
We know that you are all adjusting to these unprecedented times. The path forward looks uncertain. Now is especially a time when we appreciate the community in community theatre, and hope that we are all able to support each other through this crisis. We are grateful for your patience and support for GreenMan Theatre as we move forward.
