GreenMan Theatre Troupe Elmhurst

Quibbles, Twaddle and Flummery

On October 21st, GreenMan Theatre Troupe will present “Quibbles, Twaddle and Flummery,” an online evening of five 10-minute plays by Craig Gustafson. Gustafson, a frequent GreenMan director, is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. Several of his plays are published in anthologies: “Lending a Hand” currently; “A Cheap Maid in Chasteside” and “Save Me, Myron Glick!” later this year. The combination for GreenMan will contain selections ranging from heartfelt to farcical to completely bizarre.

“Quibbles, Twaddle and Flummery” will be presented at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 21st as a                 Zoom meeting, using this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85159878263...
                    OR
             Meeting ID: 851 5987 8263
             Meeting Passcode: theatre20

“What’s great about doing this through Zoom,” says Gustafson, “is that not only can I get brilliant actors from this area, but actors I love who have moved to a different state can also be involved.”
The Zoom event will be produced by Becca Easley.

“Think it Through” – A mythical clurichaun is captured by a lawyer and a priest in a northside Chicago tavern. How will she… or they… escape?

“The Elephant in the Room” – England. 1910. Tea time. A noble family entertains Tweeny, the weedy, forgotten sister of the suffragette Pankhurst family. Conversation falters; there is an elephant in the room. Or at least, in the next room.
  Godiva Bancroft: Lisa Dawn Curran
  Lord Burgess Bancroft: Gary Puckett
  Lady Kenley Bancroft: Angelique Cate
  Tweeny Pankhurst: Amanda Fisher

“It Is What It Is” – A suburban housewife receives a visit from the neighborhood mob hit lady.
