8 to the Bar 2024
GreenMan Theatre Troupe is pleased to announce the line-up for its annual 10-minute play festival, “8 to the Bar.” Playwrights submitted short plays spurred by the prompt “Revenge is Sweet… or is it?” Two hundred plays were blind-read (playwright’s name and information removed.) Plays were received from 29 states, Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore and the Canary Islands.
Sixteen finalists were chosen, and the selected directors got to choose the plays they wanted to direct. The production will be produced by Becca Easley.
